OP here. Slightly off topic: First time switch user. Would you recommend installing a tempered glass screen protector for the OLED? e.g. this one for $10

I have. The switch OLED panel is now glass, but there’s a plastic overlay to stop glass shards scattering in the event of a break that I assume may scratch. With or without the overlay I personally would prefer to have a glass screen protector get scuffed up or break than the consoles. I don’t find a glass protector impacts use or feel.

I went with this 3 pack and it’s fine for $14. Maybe could do with being 1-2mm larger as it’s not completely flush with the the consoles body, but that’s only impacting the bezel and the screen coverage is good. Makes install easier though to have the small buffer.

      • Thanks for the reply! Did you install your glass screen protector on top of the plastic overlay or did you remove it first?

        • +1

On top. Nintendo has suggested to leave it on and said they don’t anticipate any issues with putting a protector on top of it. I didn’t notice the film and it’s not intended to be removed.

Screen still looks great. Put the protector on first thing before powering up the system.

          • @Smigit: Thanks done and done!

Dunno how two dust particles got under there. Ughh!!

      Hi OP!
I bought the one you listed from JB. You only get 1 (rather than 3 from Amazon/eBay) but I needed it straight away when my oled switch arrived a lot earlier than expected. Have put it on before first use… pretty nice fit and touch screen works fine (on top of the plastic overlay).
Installing is like putting on any protector… dust is difficult to avoid but if a couple of tiny specks gets stuck underneath you don’t notice it when the switch is running.

      • Thanks done and done!

Dunno how two dust particles got under there. Ughh!!

        • Use sticky tape to tap it off before putting on your screen protector.

My partner has only ever swore at me a handful of times, all while playing overcooked. 10/10 would play again.

  • I bought the Xbox version from eb last week new for less than 20. We only play it on tv, so I guess I will go with the cheaper platform.

This post is supposed to be on Overcooked! All You Can Eat but somehow turn into a topic for a screen protector for Switch OLED.

But anyway here are my contribution.

Not sure if you are aware of the Switch docks could cause scratches on the screens for the original Switch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svKTFZ_MXo4) due to the 2 front notches. Not sure if this is still the case with the OLED dock.

As @Smigit mentioned above (https://www.techradar.com/au/news/does-the-nintendo-switch-o…). On top of getting a screen protector, you might want to consider getting this Dock Cover / Sock (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep4iBV3_zjc) too.

    • Thanks mate. Got too excited as I was getting my switch delivered today.

Back to this topic. Thanks OP for this post.

The Overcooked! 2 is a great co-op game. In fact, it is one of the best co-op games I have played. And for this game Overcooked! All You Can Eat is essentially a complete bundle containing Overcooked!, Overcooked! 2, and all of the DLC attached to both games in one neat package.

    2 reviews below:
    Nintendo Life
    Green Man Gaming

So when comparing the price to each individual game:

    Overcooked! Special Edition $26.00
    Overcooked! 2 $37.50
    Overcooked! 2 - Gourmet Edition $38.25 ($63.75)

So this Overcooked! All You Can Eat $34.17 ($56.95) is surely a bargain, I do highly recommended this to others.

    • Do you have any other couch co-op games you can recommend?

    Hi @dajackal, I sure do.

    The more well-known ones are:

    • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
    • Super Mario Party
    • Luigi's Manison 3
    • WarioWare: Get It Together!

The less well-known ones (which I much preferred):

    • Urban Flow
    • Moving Out [Free Demo]
    • Tools Up
    • Marooners
    • Boomerang Fu
    • Unrailed! [Free Demo]
    • Death Squared
    • Shakes on a Plane
    • Brunch Club

I would only purchase them when they are on sale. (Note: Some are only available in the US market)

    • Wow!! Quite a list!
You wouldn't recommend streets of rage 4?
And Death Squared is on sale right now isn't it?

      • If you have noticed most on my list are 4 players multi-player games.

Sorry, I personally not really into beat'em up, fighting or killing games.

But if you are interested, then I can recommend:

        • Super Smash Bros (This is obviously the best, but not the price)
        • ARMS [Free Demo]
        • Screencheat: Unplugged

Death Squared is still on sale. Bought it but have not played it.

        • Death Squared is surprisingly good!

It is a puzzle game for 2 or 4 players. (cannot play with 1 or 3 players unfortunately).

I do think that you need to limit playtime if you dont want IRL fighting to ensue. lol

          • @silverheathe: Really? I still haven't had the chance to play it yet. Need to find someone to play with me. LOL

  • This one better than Gourmet edition right ? If I paid for this one will I get discount as I already got most of them

    • Please refer to one of my posts above @Mr Bargain. I am not sure about the discount thingy.

  • Would eb or any other places price match a physical copy? Prefer to be able to trade the game in once I get bored of it!
