Apologies just read your last line.
HOUSE10 is eligible for cashback?
To be fair though, most soundbars are a joke.
Yep agreed, but they also get very expensive, and IMO don't look that great when they get really big hey. The new Sony HT-A9 would be my go to for simple audio, they seem really great.
@User411163: Yep 100%. The fact you can place physical speakers instantly makes it better. I ended up selling my Samsung 7.1.2 soundbar for a stereo speaker setup and haven't looked back, if you are interested in sound quality, it's not until you realise soundbars can't even do stereo that you do a quick sidestep and reconsider. If you need surround sound, often the HTIB sets will outperform soundbars and virtual sound like you said.
Yea the Sony's are over $2k and needs a sub to be purchased separately. Saved a lot of wires/cables though if that's what people are after.
@User411163: Wowsers that would be incredible man.
Yea soundbars can't do stereo as they are not physically separated past your TV, as in the soundbar is often narrower than your TV, so it can't physically make sounds come from the front left/right unless you sit exactly in front of your tv and very close to it.
I don't have a lot of space at the moment, and wanted a pair for music and TV, so I got the Edifier S3000PRO for $520.
@User411163: For my setup, they give more than enough bass for me. It doesn't shake the room, but I don't like that amount of bass as I'm close to the neighbours. This give very accurate mid bass and low bass but no deep bass.
It says temporarily out of stock?
