Seems like the webpage for the 6600 launch is up for PLE. According to the web page there is stock available so shipping might happen soon than later. It what is is if you were holding out from the 6600xt on launch this is basically the same (but worse) for more.

The cycle continues. The 6600 XT launched 2 months ago for less than $699.
Been looking at stock levels and nothing really resurfaced after 3 am.
Mwave at around 11am had gigabyte eagle 6600 for around $633 delivered
PLE fail into the dark side. No deal for such price. $559 is deal price and it shouldn't be over $599.00 for a preorder.

yeah even in this market, its just a refreshed 5600XT for $700 and really puts into perspective just how crap of a deal this is. Marketed as a 1080p card? hell man, the GTX1050 is all you need.

Fair enough, my 1080 Ti makes me overestimate how good the 10s series actually hold up for today, but I agree, seems the 1050 ti isn't as adequate as it was in 2019.
@dbmitch: The 1070 and up aged really well. The 1050 series was just an insult to budget gamers and the 1060 was just mediocre.

GPU pricing has gone from overpriced to unbelievable, especially at the entry level. Value proposition is just bonkus. I rather pay more for mid tier products.

seeming that 1080ti's are going for 700, to 750$ used at the moment. i think a 6600 for 700 is just about the worst value gpu on the market.
