  • They are launching this service at 10AM today.

Flash will be available on phones, tablets, PCs and TVs for $8 per month.

You'd have to REALLY like news to pay $8/month for it

    • +13

Its not news its opinions so you really need to like Murdochs opinions to pay $8 for it :)

Don't need it. I have bugged his phone so I get the news first hand.

Almost all news is opinion-based now. Wether it’s Murdoch’s or some other partisan hack. The proverbial “same coin, different side”.

    • We currently subscribe to Foxtel Go mostly for the news services. Glad to go from $25/month to $8/month.

  • +11

Many of those news channels are freely available online, and it’s a bit of a stretch to call some of the others “news”.

  • Old people like me love the news - If this is any good then I can finally get rid of foxtel.

  • More COVID propaganda. Just what we need.

  • Shame it has a cost tbh. Should be available through freeview

Hopefully they can bundle KayoSports, Binge and Flash into one price - say $30 per month or something.

  • Meh

OMG that a lotta NEWZ! Hopefully whoever binges on these will come out the wiser and lotsa wisdom to finally bring peace to the world we all gotta live in.

  • this is just a stupid, stupid service. dont see why people will pay for it

  • are they having a laugh? $8 for news channels which can be largely watched for free, not to mention that the kayo/binge app software isn't the greatest

Is this how they decided to respond to the YouTube "Sky fake-news" ban? Shameful.

Neg for opinions masquerading as news since Fox and Sky are on the list.

Also neg as it's not a deal. Your taxes already go towards ABC News 24/7 on free to air. If you really wanted to pay for news, choose something more factual.

When I'm bored I get my popcorn and go to Fox news to see what latest crap they are sprucing to their sheep .
It comes in handy knowing what the next wave of rubbish they believe in .
