Missed out on the ebgames sale on ssds so in the market, I'm still waiting potentially better offers to come and I'm in no rush. Not the cheapest but if you want something today in the colors available, solid choice.
GG commercial so no latitude pay/afterpay offers and no discount codes.
(Normal price, 298 on GG website)

Samsung encryption software for one. If you use it across Windows and Mac, one encryption is easier than dealing with bitlocker vs APFS.
:)
These just work to be honest. From what I have read a lot of the 3rd party enclosures seem to be unreliable.
This is tiny and it works superfast out of the box.
My honest question: would there be an enclosure and a disk of this size and speed at comparable price?
A quick search on Amazon got me this, probably not the cheapest but should be comparable price and comparable speed.
I mean why complicate things and lose a few features at kinda the same price? Enclosures seem like a lose-lose scenario. Correct me if I'm wrong
Surely it just depends on your starting point.
If you dont have either, then get the T7 or similar.
If you have an NVME from some previous drive / laptop you can harvest, then just get the enclosure.
I for one have an Enclosure with 512GB from an old machine. So if I want to upgrade, I'd be looking at a well priced 2TB NVME, over the T7 or similar. But just depends on your circumstance.
Genuine question. Why do we buy this can we can just buy nvme ssd and fit an enclosure to it ?
