If I'm logged out, it's #10 on the front page
If I'm logged in and using "List Old" view, it's #11 on the front page
But if I'm logged in and using the new "List" view, it's not on my front page or any of the first ten pages
I haven't customised my front page settings
Any ideas why this is happening?
That doesn't explain why it's on the front page in "List Old" mode, but not in "List". Both show expired deals.
How do I change the "List" mode so that this deal does appear?
"List Old" is showing deals purely based on the vote count. However the new "List" takes account of many other things, for example how old a deal is. A low-vote but recent deals will likely to appear on the front page, but if it does not receive more votes it will drop out. Whereas with "List Old" model, once a deal receives the required votes it will likely to stay on the home page.
Guest users have "do not show expired deals" turn on by default, so those highly voted expired deals pushed the linked down down so it did not get featured on the front page.
