Anybody Bought That Buffalo 2T 7200rpm External Hard Drive in Last December's Deal?

Anybody bought that Buffalo 2T 7200rpm external harddrive in last December's deal?

Any comments on the product?

I just saw the seller is still selling them but in a much highter price ($139!). I didn't follow what happened to the harddrive market Again since the flood.

Anyway, I'm attracted by its firewire 800 port. But I'm a bit concerned that if it's a genuine Buffalo product 'cause no one else is selling them, ane the warranty is only 1 year.
(update: after contact the seller, they change the warranty to 2yr, didn't answer if it's genuine though)

I've also found this

Which seems a latest model Hd-lbu3, but no firewire 800 anymore.

zero reply? Where should I post this then?

    • if you want it, buy it, if you don't, don't

problem is this forum is really in the value market

no one gives a shit about firewire or esata sadly

i think shopping square is selling seagate 2tbs for $119 but i think its usb2 or 3 only

  • If you buy from eBay then buyer beware. I've got the old Buffalo 1TB USB 2.0 that I got for $49 from JB Hi Fi and it works perfect, but no firewire/esata.
