Dishwashers with Bottle Washing and Macerators

Hey friends,

I'm trying to find a new dishwasher and it seems the features I want aren't listed on any of the ones I look at.

I want one that washes bottles (I use a lot of glass drink bottles) and has a macerator (grinds up food bits so they just go down the drain) instead of a filter, but so far I've struggled to find either of these things listed on any of the dishwashers I've looked at.

Are these simply not sold in Australia or do shops just not list these features? Have you come across any with either of these features?

    get those tablets you can put in bottles to clean the inside, and a brush and then also, scrape the food off your plate into the kitchen caddy and put in green waste (or what i do is put most food scraps in kitchen caddy that local council provided, but for bones and stuff i put in a container in the freezer and then put in green bin when its full)

      I feel like people are missing the part where I want to purchase an appliance to do this for me.

      They already exist, I can find examples in the US and EU but not in Australia for some reason.

          But that's not part of a dishwasher.. Not sure how this helps OP.

    I have not seen this feature in any dishwasher. All dishwashers here have a filter which catches the particulates. Once I had an plum pit stuck in one of my old Dishlex (20 year old model) and had to manually dislodge it from the motor!!

    Macerators are useless in a dishwasher. They still gunk up and require cleaning like a filter.

    Sounds like you need a butler and not a high end dishwasher.
