Citibank Rewards Credit Card promo - new customers definition

Looking at taking advantage of the Citibank promo to get 100k flybuys points (in effect, $500) by getting the Citi Rewards CC.

The T&CS state "New cards customers only" and I'm not sure if having a CitiBank Everyday Plus account (debit) counts as an existing customer or not since it's not a CC?

    Why don't you call them? Pretty sure you are eligible since you don't have a card with them before.

    Having only a debit card means you are a new customer for credit purposes.
