Yes? Oh sorry, thought you were calling me by my nickname.

  • I've always wondered how the clutch works on a force feedback setup. Surely you don't get the whole "friction point" feeling of letting out a clutch?

Any recommendations between the G29 and this for ETS2/ATS?

had the same question. I love ets2 and currently use g27 with it. I was thinking to upgrade to g29 so i can use with my PS5 as well.

      • G29 I believe should feel almost identical to g27, just updated layout and loss of buttons on shifter. You could consider Fanatec CSL elite second hand which is starting to pop up since the release of the release of the CSL DD

    • T300>G29>T150

      • Some YouTube reviews rated T150 Pro > G29 though due to T150 uses mix of gear and belt drive whereas G29 gear only.

        • Both g29 and t150 pro have pros and cons. One ain't better than the other it just depends which features are better for you.

T150 pro slightly better force feedback but steering wheel feels and looks like plastic in comparison to g29 which feels and looks more premium with leather and stainless steel.

T150 pro has slightly better break pedal.

G29 has better PC compatibility plug and play hassle free, the t150 pro is a little bit of a headache to make it work on PC but still works just need more work.

          G29 2 year warranty
          T150 pro 1 year warranty

      • T300 is better but it's in a more expensive price level here in Australia, plus the longevity of how long this product will last is up for debate.

    • I'd personally go for the G29. It was my first wheel before multiple upgrades. It was fantastic with ETS2/ATS, I just added a larger aftermarket wheel to it.

Thrustmasters reliability is a bit questionable, but the logitechs are pretty bulletproof

I fell down the sim racing rabbit hole last year and spent thousands on various rig,PC and accessories. I call it the girlfriend blocker. Anyways just a word of warning. It starts with the wheel and if you're not careful it becomes its own beast.
I'm ultimately gonna sell it all for a real motorcycle and enjoy the outside world a little more
