    I'm assuming they are the same as BL2 - where 1 key = epic loot box. The items from that are often much better than what you'll find in game. It detracts from the game imo - you get better rewards by farming online codes rather than just playing.

      In borderlands 3 the chest gives you nothing useful, it never drops legendaries and whilst levelling it gives you terrible items.

      The only purpose of these keys is to generate items to sell to the vending machine if you're short on cash for an upgrade.

      The only thing of value that comes from the chest is completely randomly rolled epic grenades (very random), which can occasionally be better than legendary ones.

      The key giveaway is just an on-going advertisement campaign for the most part.

  Or alternatively use CheatEngine to inject unlimited Golden Keys in. Then don't need to rely on these codes.

    Will not work on console, unless you play it on pc, and it has play anywhere capabilities, and the saves in the cloud sure.

  I remember using every code I could find for borderland 2, ngl completely ruined the fun when I had OP guns and essentially unlimited money.
