From personal experience, this electric razor trumps the Panasonic 5 blade which I found could not adequately cope with my stubble after 24 hours growth. The Braun 7 series is very good but the receptacle for catching stubble over flows onto clothes despite daily cleaning. The Braun has the best sideburn trimmer. The Philips is the best razor but the sideburn trimmer is pretty crappy.

Does the Xiaomi give as close a shave as the Phillips? I've seen OzBargainers say that the Xiaomi isn't as good for more fuller beards, it's more for Asians who's beard isn't as full/thick?
I ended up with three razors because I wanted to try them all myself. Now my routine is weird, I shave with two razors. Panasonic Arc 5 does the hard work and then I finish with a quick Phillips, the rotary coming at different angles seems to be better at finishing off the rogues.
I have this 3 head rotary one as well as the 5 bladed foil Phillips. The rotary is good for getting rid of longer growth reasonably quickly, the 5 headed foil is better for daily shaves and also provides a closer shave.
