Car Audio Upgrade Advice for Chrysler 300

I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 limo. Would like to make my music/sounds better when my clients play songs in future.

I do not know much about this car audio things. I found i have Kenwood KFC-1389ie 2 of these speakers in my passenger cabin, then normal standard Chrysler speakers in the boot along with 8 inch sub.

Also limo has 2 AMPS. One is DHD POWER CRUISER 1200W NTX-3104 2 channel bridgeable/24dB X-over/subsonic.
Other one is DHD POWER CRUISER 600W NTX-3102 4 channel bridgeable/24dB X-over/subsonic

If I just change my cabin speakers and boot speakers will the sounds get better? If so what are my options?

Please suggest speakers for cabin and boot. Based in northern suburbs Melbourne

Thanks in advance

Get the alternator specs and with a lithium battery you might be upgrading to multiple kilowatts. Time to trigger a good earthquake to change the news!

  • Cheap amps there

    Got a budget in mind?

Certainly doof would be a good thing for a limo like that

    • Was thinking below 1000$ if possible. I thought if i change all 4 speakers it ll sound better? What you think?, some place quoted me 1500$ for 4 speakers. Morel Tempo Ultra 692 Integra MKII 6x9'' Coaxial Speakers

And Morel Tempo Ultra 502 Integra MKII 5.25'' Coaxial Speakers

      Parts , labour and all

      • What do you mean by better? More bass? Better clarity?

The setup isn't bad, though I'd scrap the stock speakers.

For a limo, bass and doof would be the main thing (school balls, hens nights etc), rather than making sure they clearly hear a full orchestra, so splits with tweeters would likely be pointless. So yes 6x9s (possibly offer the amp you have now), which will also give a bit of bass

        • That price they quoted was for 4 new speakers, 2 x 5.25 morels in the passenger cabin, 2 new 6x9 speakers to replace stock ones. So is that a good deal and this will be lot better than what i have now?☺️

This really depends on what you truly want to achieve.

For $1000 you will get an 'ok upgrade system'.
    But…

A reasonable Pioneer head unit with AUX/Bluetooth connectivity (assuming you're not looking for video) - $400
Then you are looking for at Amp's, speakers, sub's, wiring, caps (if needed), etc.

Morel are generally a very nice driver, as is Focal and so on, however, if you want to try and upgrade most of the system, then perhaps the higher end range from Pioneer, Alpine, Hertz, Rockford Forsgate etc. The mid rage to bottom of the higher grade stuff for most of these brands is a good product. High-end Focal's or Morel will be double that of those I've just mentioned and really focused on comp grade gear.

You prob want to look at a couple of decent subs - JL, or again those similar brands above.
Amps - looks at Pioneer, or the likes, unless you want to increase your budget to accommodate the likes of the high-end gear where you will be paying $2k for an amp…

Look at sites like Ryda.com.au, Strathfield.com.au, even Autobarn and Supercheap for a bit of a guide…

  • Save some more (like 3x more) and do it properly. Visit a car audio specialist.

Half arsed upgrades will not make a significant difference.
