SUBS2022U

For the classical music lovers among us or those who may be intrigued. 20% discount on subscription packs for the 2022 Sydney Symphony Orchestra season. Sign up before 12th November 2021. Not available for those who held a subscription in 2021.

Join us and our new Chief Conductor Simone Young as we return to the stage for a momentous season featuring the greatest music, your favourite composers, and brilliant guest artists.

We begin in the heart of the city, with some special concerts at the Sydney Town Hall, as part of our Autumn Season. Then we make our return to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for our Winter & Spring Season, where you can experience the wonderful new acoustics.

A range of preset series packs are available or you can create your own pack with 4+ concerts.

Also under 30s tickets are significantly cheaper than adult with equal pricing across all seating categories. So a very good price if you're under 30 imo.

  • Does the SSO perform strictly classical tracks or scores from popular movie soundtracks too?

    • I don't see any movie soundtracks performances on their website, but I'm pretty sure they've played before. It'll probably be in one of those '[movie title] in concert' shows but those aren't part of the regular SSO seasons unfortunately.

    • They do popular movie scores. They did the first six Harry Potter ones

  • So cheap it should be called the Sydney centphony Orchestra

  • The student price tickets with a 20% discount are a very good price.
