Don't believe it will be an issue.
When you can get an entire stock Macs performance for $50 yet this would be a $300 upgrade. (Yes yes I know nvme)
Apple Tax :(
Fast USB-C 3.1 1TB Samsung T5 for $104 after $20 voucher was the best Apple upgrade killer (5x faster :)
What's the chance that this microsd is a legit Sandisk. I mean you're buying it from some third party seller which i've never heard of before. It's not a fake Sandisk card by any chance.
But i'll be damned looking at the $124 price from HN for this card.

Gerry will tell you pls be patriotic and buys from our shop as we employ a lot of Australians, hence why you pay more.
If bothered buy the Amazon AU offering for a few dollars extra
Thank you.
Just bought two for the two dash cams we just purchased.Check your cards regularly. My first one failed in less than 1 year and I dont even drive that much. It still recordsled but files had errors and changing to a new card seemed to fix it.
Yes. I noticed that when researching them recently.
From one review site that said the endurance ones were ok:
Note: Please do not be getting confused with Sandisk Ultra cards. The Dash Cam manufacturers and Users have reported problems with the SanDisk Ultra’s reliability and speed.I'd go with Samsung pro endurance if I could but they don't make 256GB.
Maybe the Sandisk max endurance is better than this high endurance one.
can i use it on my macbook air or i should get a nvme ssd?
yes
Will this work for Nintendo Switch?
Maybe this choice is better. They make Microsd cards specifically designed and made for the Nintendo Switch. There would be no questions if this will work or not with the Nintendo Switch with this one since it's designed for it. It's probably already formatted to work straight out of the pack for the Switch. So no guessing for compatibility here. This is the 256GB card.
