    Because they are better tuned, with better transparency mode and stronger ANC.

    XM4 is tuned particularly bad (and in-app EQ can’t rectify 250 - 500hz region.

    QC35ii is long in the tooth with micro-usb and a jagged treble response.

    Downside on APM is cost and weight. Also the clamp isn’t for everyone.

    Sadly the perfect headphone still doesn’t exist.

    Except the GG50, and the 308 Rainbow. Come to think of it the 330 ‘Shooting Brake’ was a mess as well, nor should we even mention the embarrassing Superamerica 410 or the 400 model that took design cues from SAAB.
