Vacuums to Clean Bed Dustmites

  I don't think vacuums can get in that deep. The allergist recommendations are to replace the mattress if it's old and buy enclosed mattress protectors (the kind that goes all the way underneath and zips closed)

    Yep something like this. You're effectively starving them to death since they can't get at you.

  The Dyson V15 is great vacuum, but it won't really help with bed dust mites.

  There isn't a vacuum that I am aware of that can help you with this, as the previous poster said, vacuums can't get into the bed that deep.

  My partner is dust allergy allergic and we just use an air filter and keep the room vacuumed often.

    According to Kirby Vacuums….there is!

    Of course, in home vacuum sales person isn't the most objective source.

  Any recommendations for vacuums to clean beds for dustmites? I was looking at the dyson v15. Thanks.

  Wash your sheets, pillow cases etc.
  Memory Foam/Latex make it hard for dustmites to burrow in.
  Get an air purifier.
  Vaccum the floor.
  Dust.
  And cover the bed with a plastic sheet when not in use if you are allergic.
