Flybuys Tips for Stacking of Offers

I notice that I always receive 2 similar offers where 1 offer expires on Friday and 2nd similar offer starts next day I.e. Saturday.

I always do shopping on Friday which gives me points for 2 both offers. This has been happening for nearly a year.

Couple of weeks ago I got offers of spend $250 in 1 shop and get 10,000 points (1 offer expires Friday and 2nd offer starts Sat). I ended up receiving 20,000 points for Friday night shopping.

I also noticed that if you return anything post purchase(even after few mins) and the total spend after refund is lower than minimum spend to be eligible bonus points, I still receive full bonus points. I have noticed this with refund up to $40.

Good luck with this loophole until it lasts.

    This is not a loophole. It is purposeful setup to spread the shopping traffic on to less busy days. The other day is on Tuesdays. Even you tell lots of people, most of they still wont change shopping habits and shop on Thursdays or Saturdays. Good for those in the knowing, just like CC deals! Rewards are coming from those less knowing.

    The bottom line is: Flybuys does not worry about it at all as it always has full control of the offers to be issued.

    Flybuys do roll back points on refunds, it's just not instant.

    "glitch" has been around for ages, assume it would be fixed if it didn't benefit Coles in some way.

    Also regularly get 3 day offers during the 4 weeks that require double the 4 week target spend, so just like the algorithm that sets the target, everything is geared towards extracting the highest spend from loyalty card holders.

  • You intentionally buy items and return it immediately just to reach the minimum spend?

    What you need to do is to purchase coles home brand products. Try it love it or return it.

    You don't need receipt to get a refund.
