hey guys, i'm looking to buy a Mac Mini for a cheap price. is JB-HiFi the cheapest place to get one? they've got it on their online store for $696, can they make it cheaper? how can i ask them to bring the price down? i've never bought from them before but i hear they're the cheapest place.

hey ozpete, thanks for your reply. is myer or dick smith having a 10% off right now? the cheapest i could find a mac mini was $672 from $699. are there any places that have 10% off now?
as above… keep an eye out at Dick Smith and JB HiFi.
In Sydney the City Stores have 'Managers Specials' all the time and these can be 10 or 15% all Apple Computers.
Managers Specials are just that… Something that the store manager is doing and will not be advertised or available at another store. The Store will put up signs in-store when they happen.
I have Bought 2 Macbooks like this at 15% off. I have even price matched with JB-Hifi accross the road when Dick Smith City store did not have one in stock during a Managers Sale!is JB having a 15% off now?

I'm looking for an air, and I can get it new for $938 delivered, better than alot of eBay used ones - same models.
If you are not in a hurry often Myer/Dick Smith/Domayne give 10% off on Apple products. Seems to be at least once a month by one of these. JB will price match.
As for JB being the cheapest place, its like every place that makes deals it depends on your ability and whether the manager got or not something the night before. ie its never guaranteed
