        Roger here, over.

        • No. I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande. Those wounds run pretty deep

  • Is this good for hunting?

    • +1

Why would you be listening to music while hunting? Use normal electronic ear muffs that can amplify sounds

So I can listen to "let the bodies hit the floor".

you planned that joke well in advance.

I just use a set of cheap in-ear earbuds (like these) and good headphones over the top to block the noise. Works well.

I picked up these last time when they were on a good discount.

They work really well and the battery lasts ages. Quite comfortable, plenty of volume, i use mine on level 1, which is plenty while mowing the lawn. The volume knob is also a push button to turn it off and on.

    Mostly just use the radio.

At this price they are well worth it.

    $20 delivery? No thanks.

  • Can't wait to listen to Bob the builder theme song whilst drilling the hole

  • pros: excellent noise suppression, probably close to or exceeds firearms spec suppression

cons: abysmal SQ thru BT, proprietary charge cable, fairly hefty clamping force (11Nm), fairly cryptic user operation, no 3.5mm cable included

    here's a manual I found:

  • Just to add to the comments above. The noise suppression is the best I've had in ear muffs. Leaps and bounds over the $15 muffs at bunnings. I was using a noisey blower and couldn't even hear it. The fm radio works well, the music quality is very poor though. Bluetooth works but is slightly delayed and once again music quality is poor. Calls work but once again the mic makes you sound muffled to others and the receiving voice isn't the best.

Overall if they last a year I still think it's money worth spent.
