I think this has since been edited so it is all consistent at class 4
Something to put in the Raspberry Pi when I can buy it….
class 4 or 2 is totally different story.
$2 better than 8gb for $6.95
or, come to think of it, $12 better than 8bg for $16.95
where does it say it comes with SD Adapter?
It doesn't. I don't think it does come with an adapter.
That is probably the difference between
and
do you reckon this will be ok to film Full HD movies on my sony hx9v digicam?
Probably not fast enough for Full HD - normally they recommend Class 6 or preferably Class 10 for that.

What are the applications for Speed Class?
Class 2 : H.264 video recording, MPEG-4, MPEG-2 video recording
Class 4: MEPG-2 (HDTV) video recording, digital still camera (DSC) consecutive photo shooting
Class 6: Mega-pixel DSC consecutive photo shooting, professional video camera
Class 10: Full HD video recording, HD still picture consecutive shooting
Does anyone know if this one is any good:
JoyFlash 16GB SD card class 10 for $10.95
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-JoyFlash-16GB-SD-card-class-1…
Would this be fast enough for mobile phone use?
Depends… general mobile phone use is probably okay - 11MB read, 3.5MB write (at this price, you have to assume for the worst case - i.e. the card is nearly a class 4). However, if you want to copy a large amount of movies / photos from your PC/laptop to the card (say 1GB or 2GB worth), you may feel the pain of 3.5MB write speed.
I found the class 4 Sandisk you bought from retail shops tend to perform more like a class 6-8 (with a read speed of 20MB+), but these cheap online ones do perform like a class 4 (or below).
Agreed, the dealfox ones with retail packaging were a bargain and definitely faster than these class 4 from AS
I have to disagree. Unfortunately, the dealfox ones were just as slow. My SD and micro SD cards from Dealfox are not suitable for DSLR - and they are definetely slower than ones from OfficeWorks.
You get what you paid for. Even if you just compare the packaging of the ones from DealFox vs ones from OfficeWorks - you can see some differences.
You could always installed sd speed increase from Google Play….
Hmmm pretty sweet deal! Would it be fast enough for a tablet?? (those android Chinese ones that accept these)?
These class 4 SD cards (but that I mean the "online special ones") cannot be used in DSLR to record 1080p video (within 10 seconds, your DSLR will abort due to SD card not able to keeep up). So if your Chinese tablet can record 1080p and you want to record 1080p, then these may not be good enough.
If you want a 8GB micro SD to just store mainly music files and photos, then it should be okay.
Thx for the reply :)
I didn't check when I hit Buy it Now.
I paid $5.95 :(
Yeah. Seems the price now is $5.95.
That is cheating and deserves a NEG. But then I would NEG the deal.
CHANGE TITLE !!!
lets just use the report button for an expired deal….
Ohhhhhh can you do that ?
why does the ebay title say class 4 but under package content it says class 2
Sandisk 8GB microSDHC Card- Class 2
and again under overview it says Speed performance rating: Class 2 (based on SD 2.00 Specification)
