How Upstreet works:
Upstreet offers fractional share rewards, instead of points or cashback.

The fractional share rewards you receive are held in the Upstreet Fund. You are entitled to units in the Upstreet Fund that make you a beneficiary of the underlying share. All shares are held by the custodian, Sandhurst (Bendigo Bank). Upstreet does not own your shares and may not access them under any circumstances. You are able to redeem your shares after a 31 day holding period from the time of purchase.

never got more than 50 cents, gave up on the concept. Shopback and Cashrewards to me just seems more user-friendly (never had any issues with tracking/terms n conditions) and we all know cash is king

        5 cents woohoo

      Hi Nalar,

Thank you for your interest, Raiz invests your roundup change while Upstreet rewards users in the form of fractional shares as you shop with brands via our app or Chrome extension. Essentially, you can keep shopping at the brands you love and get rewarded with fractional shares. This is a great way for beginner investors to enter the market or seasoned investors to keep doing what they love.

Raiz also does what you do via affiliate links.

Plus you skipped the cash rewards/shop back part. Can you beat their NUMBERS? Depositing cash rewards into spaceship/raiz seems better.

Also how do you handle coupons and gift cards? Will it still track?

          Hi Nalar,

To the best of our knowledge Spaceship and Raiz are services that require you to directly use your money to invest. With Upstreet, if you make eligible purchases via our app or Chrome extensions at brands such as Asics, Bing Lee, and Ben Sherman, you can receive a portion of your transaction back in the form of fractional share rewards. Coupons and gift cards will vary according to the T&Cs of each brand and can be found on our website, app and Chrome extension. Hope this helps.

  • Are Upstreet shares registered securities OP?

    • +1

      Hi ilovefullprice,

We purchase whole shares for our customers and put them into a unit trust on your behalf. When you're rewarded for a purchase, you'll receive units in that trust (which means you'll hold a fractional interest in the underlying shares).

      • Thanks! If don’t mind me asking, does the units in the unit trust needs to be registered securities?

        • +1

          Hi ilovefullprice,

The unit trust operates as a managed investment scheme and is registered with ASIC. You can read more about it through our PDS.

I wouldn't go anywhere near these guys.

I submitted very lengthy forms and have been chasing up again and again to get my money.

Numerous emails have gone unanswered. I would stay well away.

Was it from a previous deal that has since been nuked on here? I seem to recall this mob being downvoted HARD last time around.

      • +1

The bulk of the credit was from a Marley Spoon deal.

Yes I noticed that other posts from them have disappeared as well (probably due to the bad feedback you mentioned).

Just so everyone is aware, there are big hoops to sign up and it has been even more stressful to get my money with several emails not responded to over weeks.

        • Hi arcticmonkey,

As we provide an investment service, the sign up process requires some personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and address. This is partly required so that we can complete KYC requirements.

    • Hi arcticmonkey,

We are sorry to hear about your experience, we value every customer and always try our hardest to make Upstreet an enjoyable experience. Would you be able to send me a DM and I can help to elevate your issue?
