Check whirlpool. Some got burned by this site.

Well I didn't. And many others didn't either. It's true, some people are still waiting, so order at your own risk, and be prepared that the wait may be a long one.

      • +9

If 50 pages worth of Whirlpool complainers can't convince people then not much can

        • I received mine, anyone who didn't was offered a refund or given approximate wait times, eglobal even let people cancel and reorder via paypal so they would still be protected for the 45days.

        • That's what Whingepool is.

      • +1

It looks like most people did end up receiving theirs after a while. Can someone link me to a post where someone has yet to receive theirs?

        • -5

That's true most people did end up getting their iPads. The only people that really should be voting negative are those that have had a bad experience with this company. I guess most of the people voting negative are just jealous they missed out and ended paying a lot more for their iPads. I can only go by my own experience which was a positive one.

    • I have been waiting since 02.01.12 for my two ipads. After countless excuses and reasons e.g stocktake, warehouse close, staff thefts, shipments lost. I am trying to get a refund. They are hopeless………

  • oh this company..

how did the buy 1 get 1 free offer end up? its been a while

  • same company as the 'too good to be true' post from late last year? a couple of people said they got their ipads with photos, not sure if everyone got what they paid for

    • wow, pre-installed photos, for the same price !

or was the screen cracked from where it fell off the back of the truck ?

      • i meant the people who got their ipads also posted photos of the ipad they received!

    • most everyone received their 2 for 1 iPad offer. From my time in the thread, only 1 person left…

I wont neg this deal, but just a warning:

    • be prepared to have the item oversold and for them to ask you for more money before they ship it
    • 3rd party warranty which you will never be able to contact let alone have your item repaired at
    • Very poor communication with template emails and phone numbers which aren't staffed

    Good price though…but buyer beware.

    • points 1 and 2 are not true… noone was ever asked for more money. Warranty is Apple Worldwide warranty.

Communication is hit and miss so point three is fair. However, for those of us that recieved 2 x 16Gb 3G Wifis for $700 deliever….. a five week wait was worthwhile.

And most people DID receive theirs

stock level for each ipad model = 1 …???
    it dont feel good….

lol, not this saga again. some people still haven't received their ipads from the last deal

Ahh, the ol' bait and switch. Bait people with a super low but mildly believable price, then switch it for a big box of sweet FA.

Why do these mobs have the same name as the reputable Eglobal store that sells cameras, mobile phones and tablet pc's? Weird that their website adresss doesn't even match their store name. LOL

  • got two 16gb 3g ipads for $750.00 from their last promotion. definitely recommended

You must have rocks in your head, to deal with these shonksters.
My cousin took a chance on these clowns (against my advice). They f'd him around for 7+ weeks, and then offered him a refund.
How about they deliver their outstanding orders, before promoting more BS.

To anyone questioning eglobal as a company, I received my ipads as stated here: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1817405&p…

I understand some people are still being messed around which I think is unacceptable, but eglobal for me where a decent company to deal with and seemed to care about my order (multiple phone calls from eglobal personal, updates about delays etc).

I'd say go at your own risk but in my experience they will always allow you to request a refund, just don't expect 1 week delivery times :)

I'm one of them who got the orders messed around and I've got to say it was a very unpleasant experience… I wouldn't want to go that road again…

Gone through too many excuses, broken promises, order cancelled mistakenly by them and I have to place a new order, due to this they treat my order as a new order and have to wait at least another 10 working days for the item to arrive, I was shocked… what a joke…

And I don't know how they prioritise their customer orders, some people whose order# are higher than me, receive their iPads first and it was the same model that was ordered… it's ridiculous… feels like gambling… you'll never know whether you'll receive it or not…

The reason why I'm willing to wait was because their iPads were cheap and John sounds like a pleasant person to deal with… he's very communicative…

Anyway, after waiting for almost 8 weeks, I cancelled my order and receive my refund… glad I did it because I think there's still a few people waiting since beginning of January.

That sucks, I think I was the first person to get my ipads (at least on whirlpool) and my order number was 0206 or something (around the middle) so I think there was no order, maybe just who will boost their PR more since I stated on the phone that when I get my ipads I'll take photos/post on WP..

      • My original order before it "mistakenly" got cancelled was 018x… new order was 019x…

    • Jeeze, 8 weeks?

I think the stress caused would completely outweigh the savings in cash.

I think the old saying if it is too good to be true, it probably is. Anyone who thinks a company can offer 2 iPads for the price of one and be in business is crazy. Yes I know it's marketing, but even after the promo period, they're pricing doesn't suggest a profitable long term business.

  • How many warnings do people need? For those elderly customers or people with intellectual disabilities I beg you please do NOT buy these. Please!
