Hey,
The Al Maha Services Transit Lounge seems to be closed and 'upgrading' everyone to the Oryx lounge.
I'm wondering what people's experiences have been - is it better? worse? how is it now with Covid?
Thanks!

Departures average about ~80,000 people per month, and I'm more than happy to hear one or two experiences rather than six or seven dozen :)
Most of them were to New Zealand, the only country we could easily travel to.
That's a very royal "we."
Even after the NZ travel bubble was closed in July, 40,000 people left Australia in August.
I'm really not sure why this is being discussed. It's just derailing the topic.
@ausmechkeyboards: How many of them goes through Doha?
Just a bit tone death.
@raptormesh: About 3200 a week as a mid-range estimate but probably closer to 4200.
tone death
LOL

how is it now with Covid?
I hope the lounge doesn't have covid
Sofa so good
You're better off asking this question on a relevant subreddit or the Australian Frequent Flyer forums.
Considering the responses I'm getting from people you're not wrong at all. Will do that. Cheers.
With so few people leaving/entering the country, do you really think there will be many here with recent experiences?
