Another new flagship phone from Xiaomi on sale and a cheaper alternative to the Xiaomi 11T Pro that I posted with a few differences. The main differences are that the CPU has been changed to the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra CPU and the 120W HyperCharge has been changed to 67W fast charging.

There's also some smaller changes like no Harmon Kardon speakers, no 8K or HDR10+ camera support and LPDDR4X RAM instead of LPDDR5.

Other features include MIUI 12.5 (Android 11), 6.67" 2400x1080 120Hz 1000nit AMOLED Display with Gorilla Glass Victus, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, NFC, 5000mAh battery, dual SIM with 5G/4G (complete AU coverage), 108MP/8MP/5MP rear cameras, 16MP front camera and a fingerprint reader.

  Worthwhile review for those interested.

  In both models you're seeing aggressive CPU power management to keep battery life in check, and a lack of GPU throttling.

  Also keep in mind that a chunk of stock software is ad and analytics supported, but can be disabled, for which there's plenty of guides online.

    Thats what I was thinking, but it still looks pretty good on paper.

    Against the Snapdragon 888 (I think still the best of the best), it still loses in every metric but come in around 90% in most everything.

      I thought I saw one posted here yesterday with the SD888 - nothing comes close to the SD atm… hopefully we get some decent exynos as mediatek chips next round…
