Hi ozbargainers,
Does anyone know how to have the Australian google play store while on the Indian YouTube premium discounted rate?
Currently I can't download Australian apps on the playstore because it's based location in India.

Had same issue in the end had to remove the android phone from family sub and just cop the ads.
Why not use vanced?
Can't you have your normal account as primary phone account then change the account in youtube app only? Just like switching email accounts in the gmail app?
Yeah, i signed up to YouTube Premium using a VPN to set my location as India, but I did it on my desktop browser and not my phone. That way the phone app still works fine at the discounted rate, but doesnt change the whole google account location on your phone. Maybe give that a shot? I've been doing it for a year now with no issues.
wow that sounds amazing, I'll have to give it a try
I do this too, i have 2 seperate accounts one main google and the other just for cheap YouTube, this way if google ever decides to ban or something my primary will be secure.
Would like to subscribe to YouTube premium by setting location as India
(1) Which VPN did you use
(2) Where you able to use a AU payment method or did you use an Indian issued card
(3) Any other tips or advice
Thank you in advance
Hey, i have subscribed to Argentinian ytube premium and used surfshark vpn. I am using my UP card to pay for it without any issues.
Yep, same as Groovyui. I used surfshark and set my location india, but im sure most other VPN's should work as well.

You can be logged in to two accounts in the Play Store, switch between them in the app store when you go to download the apps and both with just show up on your phone like normal apps.
I've got a couple of spots in my Australian family if anyone wants to join - think it works out to be just under $5 per month. Thanks.
Time to protest!
