    Random story re Magnum, for about 3-4 years, I've been going to the local Woolies looking for Magnum Ego, it was never there, assumed they were just always sold out, I only found out a month ago its name was changed to Magnum Luxe… so have been missing out on the good stuff and just getting Almond/Hazelnut instead all these years…

    Anyway, thanks OP, those tubs are brilliant.

      Well if we are sharing things about changes in Woolies. I used to get these tuna spreads from Woolies (only available there) suddenly I couldn't find them any more on the canned tuna section. Realised only recently that they put them in the 'spreads' category.

      Yes, while we're sharing…. Magnum (Unilever) discontinued the Magnum Luxe Chocolate Ganache tub and my little heart is broken. I wrote them when I started noticing them gone and they initially told me straight up lies saying it's not discontinued. This happened twice when finally I wrote them saying they were goddamn liars (ok not like that) and I refuse to try their new Luxe Gold (which sounded sh!t tbh, who needs yet ANOTHER CARAMEL when they ALREADY have a Luxe caramel) and they wrote back with a crap apology.

      I haven't found a tub of ice cream that just crams so much shit in it like these do… in a good way. It's just choc full of the magnum shell to an insane level and it's great. Quite a few ice cream makers should take note.
