  Each time I go to renew there is usually one of these promos on, I just email support and ask and they put on one of the new plans at 50-70% off no problems.

    What do you get from them that you couldn't get from AWS, GCP, Azure or DigitalOcean for much less? I guess it's more work to maintain infra yourself, but it could be worthwhile.

      If your time is worth nothing that probably makes sense.
      
      Maintaining your own infra means you'll constantly need to worry about server patches, PHP updates, database server updates, DoS attacks, WAF updates, backups, testing backups, and then when you do all of that and still have an issue, cloud providers support will (usually) be no help for server specific problems.
