    Does any one know the difference between the MG2160 and the MP282? I've been looking around for specifications and they both seem to be about the same.

      Biggest difference is the ink cartridges IMO.
      The MG has a 3 colour cartridge plus a black. The MP has 4 separate colours. Decision depends on how you intend to refill this. CIS and refillable/auto reset cartridge availability may vary.

        Thanks. I'm planning on letting it run dry. I just need a colour scanner and a MFC is half the price of a standalone scanner.
