Such a shame for the employees.
This doesn't surprise me, its the case with most of these types of sales.
If customers decide to get a brain then we'll get some major bargains when they realise their stock isn't selling and are forced to reduce their prices.
However because its just assumed to be the cheapest available this likely won't happen.
the store staff at Shepparton says it will be a progressive discount sale, starting at 5% then 10%, etc.
Visited Annerley store (Brisbane)Thursday 8th. Prices were not any where near bargain level. Several items I looked at were dollars above what I had just purchased elsewhere recently. They need to mark down to invoice price at least if they want to clear out the stores. I just wasted fuel and my time yesterday.

I was in the Underwood store today and just saw lots of overpriced items. For example WD 2TB USB 3.0 HDD for over $300. I'd wait a while till they have a light bulb moment and decide they may have to drop the prices a "little" to clear a whole store.
Went to the Oxley store on Saturday. Some things were a good discount - ie camera bags were 30% off, and there seemed to be some good discounts on car stereo. There were some items marked down which were a good deal - my bargain was an Xbox 360 Kinect box for $139. Considering this is at EB for $199, BigW for $188, JB $194, I was quite pleased. There were also good deals on consoles and accessories.
Is this going to be a in-store sale only or will it be online as well? Because their online store products have already been taken off.
