Very good price. Regular price at LL or BWS is $109, on special it's $89.

    • Yeah, I just bought 3 bottles at $90 🤦‍♂️

Dearly want to buy more at this price, but I'm going to have to abstain. So enjoy :)

      • Whays good about them? Smooth, sweet? Better than redbreast or aberlour?

Perfect mixer for LA Ice Cola

        • this is a blend, can't compare to those single malts u mention above. flavour wise as it is a blend, it is much more complex and I think they claim to have 85 flavour notes.

I love it, it is sweet, fruity, flowers and caramel. I drink it neat (not even ice) and it's great.

          • @hippo2s: do you think once you get used to drink the singles, you wont like blends ?

            • @CyberMurning: I enjoy both, they all have different flavours so depends on what I feel like on the night. I do find single malts less… dimensional than blends.

Sometimes I just want smokey flavour, other times I like fruits, sometimes less mix of flavours some times love something easier drinking.

Not an expert in any way, but I don't buy into that whole Single Malt > Blends thing.

Example…people rave about Japanese whisky's, which are mostly blends!

            • @CyberMurning: oh since you mentioned redbreast, I do prefer Irish whisky than Scottish. Love the biscuits flavour most nights.

              • @hippo2s: Agree Irish is good.
                Next will try bourbon
Had cognac and i like it.
peaty Islay whiskey not for me

@CyberMurning: I am not a high end drinker there are some great value bourbons. As a starting point, highly recommend Maker's Mark, Longbranch, Buffalo Trace. Overall sweeter which I prefer sometimes…but u don't get the variety of scotch (single or blend) flavours.

                  • @hippo2s: Well too bad bb doesnt sell makers so i got wellers specials on its way
