New Binance Verification Requirements - Signature on My Driver's Licence Showing

I joined Binance a few months ago and bought some crypto and did the basic verification which meant I didn't have to send a photo of my driver's license, etc.

Now their verification is changing and I have to send a photo of my driver's license. I took a photo of it and I can see my signature on it and I'm not comfortable with them seeing my signature. Am I being too paranoid or is it a valid concern?

Can I gray out my signature on my license?

I took a selfie of myself but I don't have a web camera, only the camera on my phone and tablet. I just read the thread about Binance not accepting someone else's facial recognition so now I'm worried I'll send them my driver's license and my selfie wont' get accepted so there was no point sending my license.

If I don't do the new verification, I can only withdraw. I use Swyftx and Digital Surge as well but I'm still a newbie.

I don't have a valid passport.

        OP is an existing user and has already KYC. They can do a one-off onramp for $250k to stablecoins, withdraw it off the CEX and never return. The $250k could turn into $2.5m if this bull run continues the way it's going.

        Keep flipping coins > tokens > coins using DEX is the future of online trading.

        It depends on which chain you want to trade on. I can use close to a dozen different chains. Some are easier than others.

    You're sending your drivers licence, which is one of the most important identity documents and could be used, even without your signature showing, to fake your identity in many cases. Why are you so particularly worried about your signature?

    I'd be more worried about local scammers and exchange hacks than about your driver licence.

    Even if they do steal you identity you've got to have a pretty good credit record or very bad at tracking your credit history for them to run off with a big haul.

    My passport is expired. I've got a good credit record.
