Ivacy VPN: 90% Cashback for New Customers (5 Year Subscription ~A$14.41) @ Cashrewards

60

While technically $8 USD for 5 yrs, that figure is a bit misleading given how the cashback is handled. Still cheap though.

Can't comment on the performance, from a quick scout it seems to be not the best but not rubbish.

edit: You also get 2TB of encrypted cloud storage.

Terms:

Cashback is eligible for new Ivacy VPN customers only.

Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will not include any GST, taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

The amount that tracks to your Cashrewards account may differ to the paid amount due to international exchange rates. Your initial payment is converted to USD, then converted back to AUD when reported to us. The advertised cashback rate is based on the reported amount, not the paid amount. Cashrewards has no control over this process.

Never heard of this in my life, first thing that happened when I tried accessing their website was getting smacked in the face by an 87% off popup ad and "free gift".

    • I hadn't heard of Ivacy either, though there have been quite a few deals on here in the past.

I have got the lifetime plan for this and it works great! Would recommend

Really average speeds for me here. I am currently with PIA and it's heaps faster & quicker to connect.
You can get a 1 day trial account with Ivacy if you want to check speeds, that's what I just did and I'm not paying for it.

The other thing that turned me off immediately was being bombarded with annoying popups.
Do you like our app, please rate! (windows & android)
"Do you want to install our shitty Firefox extension to protect you?"

    NO

  • Works with Netflix USA? Nord and PIA have stopped working for me

    • I've just had a crack, netty cottoned on the first few tries but then I had success, for a while, off and on.

Stable for me now but was initially very hit and miss, hard for me to understand why it's so variable.

I've had Ivacy for about 4yrs.
    1) When the VPN crack down was in, they seem to fly under the radar & not get blocked (except Netflix).

    2) they're not quick, but they rarely seem to have downtime.

    3) They have split-tunnel VPN, so you can route traffic of certain apps over a VPN.

    They're a great backup VPN

  • My PIA subscription has just expired and I've missed all of these great cashback offers. May get this one, as I wait for a good offer on a more reliable one.

Just got Surfshark through Cashrewards 95% cash back.

  • Cheap but not recommend. Speed is very poor comparing to Expressvpn & Nordvpn.

P.s expressvpn will merge with kape who owns cyberghost, zenmate & pia in the near future. Purevpn owns ivacy.

  • Somehow I purchased this twice. After asking to cancel one of the services I was offered a free 12 months to stay.

For about $2.40 a year this might make a great deal for a backup, especially if wanting something long term.

    Sadly they are not good.
For a whole day while I was "connected" to the app on desktop the app was leaking my real IP address and when connected support, was told that it was my fault for not closing the app down/rebooting.

Real shame given how cheap it is. Think I'll probably seek a refund, did you make a purchase and if so have you asked for a refund?

      • No I was unable to because it was their "life time offer" (5 years) via third party. I think It still have the account and screenshots.

Never cheap out on a VPN plus I've been seeing this very same deal for months.

  • who got this deal just for the 2TB storage?
