I'm ripping apart my old work laptop and has a mSATA drive within,
i've had a look and there's naturally a mix of the confusion with the NVMe stuff and finding the right case/enclosure to suit the mSATA specifically.
I'm ok with either USB-C or normie USB for connectivity as new laptop has both, but don't want to buy the wrong enclosure and also don't wanna overpay.
Is there an Ozbargain approved mSATA enclosure to suit? Amazon seems to be pricy in this space and ebay seems too good to be true…
Ah i'm not clever, but it's confusing..
so it's an M.2 Drive, but Sata based.. so i'm thinking im needing to get a m.2 sata enclosure.. fml.. they really stuffed this one up.. HP say drive is mSATA but looking at it now looks like a M.2 drive that's more akin to the NVMe style.. long rectangle not short square….
