Is There a Non-Auspost Service That Picks up Your Parcel and Delivers It to your local Auspost?

Have a package that I need to return and need to go into Auspost. The long queues and covid are deterring me.

Package return? If you have prepaid label, you can drop it off into an AusPost parcel locker whenever you like (even 2AM) and they'll pick it up and process in the morning. Saves you queuing or seeing another soul.

    • I tried but it wouldn't fit!

Hmm, have you checked another branch if they have larger lockers? There's also option of some 7-Eleven lockers.

        • No actually, I tried a locker that doesn't have a post office next to it, so it could be reserved for letter mail only.

I'll try again tomorrow at a different box

It's a high value package aswell so I don't want to stuff it up.

Then posting in person over the counter is the best way. You might have to drop by a few different times of the day to find a quiet time.

At my local post office, its normally lunchtimes are busy, so 11.30am till 2pm. Then again from 4pm onwards.

You could also look around for the more smaller outlets. rather than the bigger post stores.

    • Thanks, may have to be. 9am could work

  • AusPost themselves offer a parcel pick-up service, but whether your package qualifies or not for the service I cannot say.
From memory they charge $1.00 per package.
