$39 / mon usually buys 10 GB data / mon, but for a short time, Virgin seems to be offering "3 months free on selected plans"

(3 free months / 12 contract months = 25% of your contract months will be FREE; so, you'll pay -about- $30 / mon for 10 GB / mon, across all 12 contract months.

Normally $29 / mon buys only 4 GB).

A web-ad, on my deal submission page, says it expires in the next 2 days, it's more like just over 1 day, so if you think it's a good deal, I'd say: be quick.

This may not be for Apple iPad users (ie, except via WiFi, maybe).

  Where does it say anything about being only for "non-Apple" use?

  Also, not available in NT or TAS (Except Hobart).

    If it's like the Vodafone ones (all modems I've seen are Huawei or ZTE), the bundled software was broken with Mac OS Lion and you needed to get a manual update from the website, which can be a challenge if you're buying the modem because you have no internet.

    edit: The Wifi device should be fine though, to my knowledge.

    Well, elsewhere, they show Apple / iPad data options, eg, choice of SIM form factor & -different- mobile data offerings (just 2 shown).

    Hey, I could be wrong here (Publish a link to right page if I am), but - as I don't own any Apple hardware (unduly costly, unfriendly to non-Apple systems, not always as reliable as I'd prefer, not to mention the high suicide rates in their China factories), I didn't really focus on this side of the offer, if applicable.

  These are on going promo's from Virgin. When this promo ends they will have another promo of first 5 months half price, then when that ends it will start back again with 3 months free & so on. This has been going on for the past 2 - 3 years.

    So, at least, 3 months free is better than 5 months @ half-price.

    And - not knowing about this offer can cost the ignorant buyer:

    ($29 x 3) or almost $60 more

    …so, I'm happy with my deal submission. :-)
