OzBargain Dark Mode - Not as good as other apps/websites dark mode?

Okay please nobody get offended.

Cue people getting offended and making smart comments

But does anyone else think that the OzBargain dark mode could be tweaked a bit. I really appreciate this website and the community but I think the combination of blue, orange and black don't mix that well. It's literally the only website/app that I use in light mode because it looks x10000 more bearable. What are your thoughts?

      under "My Account" select "Dark mode"

        You might need to enable beta features to see it

        Edit: appears to be available for all users

    I agree OP, am a fan of dark mode in general but don’t use on Ozb for the reasons you’ve mentioned.

    I like the dark mode, I think the colour scheme looks fine. I never use light mode for anything (especially Reddit), because otherwise I get blinded at 3AM every night.

    Agree OP.
    I find that the threads are good in dark mode as the white text on black background works…. but the live page with the blue subject text is quite hard on the eyes.

    Try the Dark Reader extension. I generally prefer the colours it chooses than what most sites choose for their in-built dark mode.

    OzB dark mode reminds me of the Wests Tigers. They suck, so no thanks 😊

    I like the dark mode available for premium members, much more subtle. I guess you get what you pay for.

      Agree. The pleb version sucks balls but plantinum version is waaaay better. Maybe I will keep my membership active due to this feature.

        I’m pretty sure there is a bug where if you cancel platinum you still retain the platinum dark mode? At least that’s what happened to me when I was banned (don’t worry I won’t complain again) because as I mentioned dark mode still looks fine for me.

    I've been using it for a while on phone and PC and looks fine. I cannot light mode it's too bright
