      Well, I got my refund today after the package was declared 'lost', and am now in with a non-zero % chance that the CPU turns up eventually. Not the worst outcome; ironically better to have ordered late because the postal service has collapsed in the mean time

  Anyone got opinions on Hellhound vs Red Devil? The Hardware Unboxed review of the white Hellhound seemed to suggest a wash performance wise

    Red Devil is their flagship model with a thicker heatsink so I'd assume it'd perform better thermally.

    Red Devil is better, but these RDNA 2 cards are much more efficient than previous AMD gens. The Hellhound has plenty good enough cooling.

      Yeah that's what I did; sold my 5700xt for $1250+delivery last week and then bought the 6700xt for $1170…if only I had waited a few more days! oh well, still happy; made $80 and got a free upgrade as you said!
