Endless Space Collection is free on Steam via Games2gether.

Endless Space is a turn-based 4X strategy game, covering the space colonization age in the Endless universe, where you can control every aspect of your civilization as you strive for galactic domination.

You just need to follow the instructions below

  1. Login or create your free Games2gether account.
  2. Go to the reward page and link your Steam account.
  3. Go back to the reward page and click the button to redeem your game.

I tried this earlier and it resulted in the game being added to my Steam library.

Edit: I did some more research and found it was free in the past and previously posted on OzBargain Prior back in 2019. Seems it may have expired and appeared free again.

      They've blocked hotmail and yahoo at least, I managed to get it to work on a different mail domain though

    If you filter the bottom section by Content Type as Game there's also 3 Endless Space DLCs you can redeem.

      DLCs are for Endless Space 2 though :)

    Great games in the genre. Personally I don't get any enjoyment out of Civ - I think these Endless games are great.

    However, they're so time heavy I would recommend looking at Endless Space 2 and considering the purchase.

    Great game, many hours played.

    You can kinda create your own race with different traits that are used by the other races in the game.
    Not too hard to learn.

    Yet to try the 2nd game.

    I found it by 1. Creating an account. 2. Clicking on gift box in the top right corner 3. Click on Rewards. Then you will see an icon of Endless space about half way down the middle of the screen. Let me know it this works for you. I'll then update the OP
