  • Charmast Power Bank 26800mAh

Never owned one before but the reviews were very good

    • I bought one in November last year and found that the capacity was 21,000mAh. I posted about it here.

How is this compared to Romoss?

  • 197x 96 x 14.3 mm

  • No PD or QC on the 10K unit?

Not many (any) 4 out battery packs that are this slim (just over the size of usb-a port). It is big though, 20x10cm.

I’ve had and used for the past few months to charge my portable music setup, works well.

I did read one report which said it killed their ipad charging, ymmv. Life is a risk?

    • Yeah, extremely thin even compared to smaller capacities, obviously due to using thin LiPo and making it higher and longer,

but most people including me prefer this form factor ( unless you need say 30W + and need High W over 18W max ).

Using different chargers, cables & powerbanks always comes with a compatibility risk to a degree and helps if you do some

reading/re-search first, even then still some issues can arrise. Who knows if the charging circuit or even cable was not faulty too,

pretty hard to just blame one item when 3 are involved without using all three products and testing thouroughly.

Like you well said, life is a risk ( but can minimise somewhat if careful, but maybe less fun lol ).

I believe the stated capacity is incorrect, the dimensions fit a 21,000mah LiPo cell.

        • Would not be surprised unless they are using some new trickery.

Many power banks have overstated capacities and even Max outputs.

I bought it last November and measured it, the results I got definitely points to a 21,000mAh cell. I posted about it here.

@eug: Yeah I'd be more inclined to trust Anker's 26800 if capacity and quality is your priority, but they are thicker, 'only' 3 usb outs and twice the price of this one.

  • 430g is very heavy for a 21000mah cell powerbank.

    • 430g is very heavy for a 21000mah cell powerbank.

The Anker PowerCore 26800 is 499g.
21000mAh would be lighter than that.
