Both Doordash and Menulog allow me to order Grill'd but apparently on Deliveroo it's too far.. it's like 3kms.

      • +1

Is it possible that your local Grill'd isn't taking orders on Deliveroo and that's why they can't deliver to you?

Google 'Grill'd SuburbName Deliveroo' then click on the listing.

It may come up with something like 'Grill'd Suburbname isn't accepting orders right now'

Or search for it in the app and see if it's listed as closed.

        • They deliver but only within 3kms - who would need that? I just checked multiple location - anything over 3km is rejected.

  • +5

Had this yesterday was pretty good. Unsure why they are known as "health burgers" though? My burger had bacon, relish, aioli and chesse etc so pretty much like every other burger.. but if it's healthy it's good right…. right?

    • +2

Yeah, Choice pointed that out a couple of years ago and the owners of Grill’d threatened to sue them for it

    • +1

Protein, tomatoes, garlic & egg (more protein) & dairy. Deliciously healthy.

  • All the delivery services now deliver in essentially the same suburb, and maybe like the edge of the adjacent depending on how big/small it is.

What exactly am I paying delivery for? I can walk for 10 minutes, get some exercise and get the food myself…

    • -8

When you book a hotel what exactly are you paying for? You can walk out the front, get some fresh air and sleep on the street.

      • +4

Uh…. what that is hardly comparable.

    • +4

I agree, but I'll add that getting my food delivered by a stranger, feels like I am playing the worlds worst guessing game, Will it arrive cold? Will it show up? Why does my food taste funny?

    • Of course you can walk, I'd do the same but I can guarantee you the majority of take away customers just don't.
I never order delivery myself because I don't like the idea of more random people touching my food. Rarely get take away anyway for the same reason. OCD

  • +1

There is a grill'd 3.6km away and the entire way almost is a cycleway, I can get there myself in 10 minutes if not less, but apparently it's "too far" for delivery. No wonder these delivery services are not making money.

    • Exactly. I mean they don't even need to pay the robots wages.

    • Similar situation for me but my particular Grill'd aren't even on Deliveroo sadly

      • I feel this, i dont think Grill'ed is in SA at all, at least not on delivery services.

  • +1

    God bless Grill'd

2 days in a row its says network busy, try again later

  • What are good burgers in terms of economy for price? Simply Grill'd?

  • is $20 minimum calculated after the discount or before?

    • +4

      Before:

      2 Fable Build Burger
      Traditional $25.00
      Subtotal $15.00
      40% off (-$10.00)
      Delivery fee Free
      Total $15.00

  • Available in Sydney?

  • Do you have to get delivery or can you pick up like menulog?

    • Deliveroo do have pick up options in the app, but it appears that Grill'd isn't one of them, at least in SA.

  • -3

Deliveroo prices are almost 40% higher than original Grill'd's price.
    Don't use Deliveroo!

    • +1

Not really, same as any other delivery app, decent deal @ 40% off

    • +8

Prices are higher but nowhere near 40% higher. Some examples:

      • Simply Grill'd is $11.50 pickup or $13.50 Delivered on Deliveroo or a 17.3% increase.
      • Crispy Bacon and Cheese is $14 pickup or $16 Delivered on Deliveroo, a 14.3% increase.
      • Mustard and Pickled is $13.50 pickup for $16 Delivered on Deliveroo, an 18.5% increase.

Prices are before the coupon is applied.

    • +1

Nope - I just got a Mighty Melbourne, Large Chips & dipping sauce for $15.48 delivered through Deliveroo. If I was to pickup and purchase in store it would be $22.20

  • +1

My order was cancelled by restaurant

  • +2

Menulog will deliver Grill'd to my address, Deliveroo will not. Useless!

    • Even if I change my address to the be right on top of the store, it still doesn't deliver.

  • Am I blind or is there no way to add an extra regular beef patty to the beef burgers? Had to pay $8 for the wagyu patty instead

  • I usually enjoy the food at Grill'd and I'd like to support the local businesses that are doing tough during the lockdown but my most recent purchase last week was less than satisfying.

I ordered online and picked up at the store (Macquarie Centre, NSW).

The buns were dry and the patties were cold (i.e. cooked well beforehand), but tasted fine otherwise. From what I observed, there didn't appear to be any cooking at the store, just assembling of the burgers.

Service was good - no issues there.

Ordinarily, I would complain or leave a poor review, but like I said, we're in lockdown and businesses are trying to adjust. Still, it would have been good if they explained clearly if their processes had changed so that customers can make better informed decisions.

  • targeted? I see no 40% off in my account. (order >$20)

    • Have you signed up for the Deliveroo plus free trial?

Just received my Grill'd order. The burgers (chicken patties) were way burnt and tasted bitter.
Not the usual smokey flavour. Kinda disappointed, to say.

    • Same here, 40% off happiness. Buns burnt, beef burnt, even the sweet potato chips were overburnt.

      • Made a complaint on Deliveroo, and got credited. Pushing on cancer causing levels.. bad!

  • lunch sorted

  • +3

Bad news: got the wrong order
Good news: refunded & eating someone else’s food

    • +2

Lol that's so much better than when menulog stuff up.

      • +4

        Menulog customer service be like
Me: hi my food hasn't arrived
        Agent: lol that's a shame
Me: can you at least check where it is?
Agent: probably in your driver's stomach
Order status has been changed to "Resolved".

        Uber Eats: * crickets *

DD: We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and stress this has caused you on your very busy day and we appreciate your time in reaching out to us today, it is our job and our duty to help fulfill our customers requests and we will be here to help you do that. The last thing we want is for any customer to walk away unsatisfied with an experience in using our services today.

Honestly, I hate using any of them but at least Doordash readily gives credits after their generic ass kissing attitude.

        • lol

I don't get the ubereats joke. What does "crickets" mean?

          • @Homr: cricket is a chirping insect that resembles a grasshopper, it's also a sport.

          • @Homr: It means awkward silence when all you can hear are insects making noise

            • @Bafranz: oh, thought ubereats support was through chat and not through phone

100% accurate on DD support though

          • @Homr: Yeah others have mentioned it fairly well but they're never around when you want them and if you do manage to get a hold of them normally they just don't reply (in my experience)

Loving this deal. I will ordering every day until it's finished. Already order twice today, Bird and Brie for lunch and Sir Truffle for dinner.

  • Ordered with this delivered only half the order :-(

    • +3

      You only lost 10% then..

  • Mine is only 2.3km away but says "opening tomorrow" ever time I've checked it :/

    • Same !!! What's the point of the promotion?!🤷

  • Ordered, thanks.

  • wohayyy perfect timing, dinner sort'd

  • (excl. tips) <—- does anyone actually tip their food delivery driver with the high markup and delivery fees already charged upon us?

    • +1

      I don't tip, I'm poor already

  • This deal has been a ahh-maaazing

  • Woo hoo

Got 2 burgers for $22 and also $3 credit from friends invite.

  • Do Grilled jack up the price? So the actual saving is less than 40%?

    • Yeh they did, actual savings works out to be between 20-25%

Cheapest is $10 a burger. If you want cheap burgers, you're better off going to Hungry Jacks

      • The quality on these is well worth $10 , the chips are also really nice

        • What are the quality ones?

I got the Wagyu truffle for around $10. It's pretty good, but I'd rather pay $8.95 for 2 whoppers at Hungry Jacks

          • @Homr: Mighty burger was pretty nice. If your looking for pure kJ per $ in a burger whoppers are kinda unbeatable and respectable tastewise.

            • @Top G: Thanks, I'll try that and the chips tomorrow.

Quite hesitant on the chips though, if I wanted chips I can just go to KFC for $2.95

  • So does this end midnight tonight or tomorrow?

    • hopefully tomorrow so I can get 1 last order in.

I just ordered for dinner tonight

  • -1

Grilld is "ok" with this discount but I certainly wouldn't be dining with them if it was a full price. Alot of the items can easily be replicated or better alternatives out there

HFC chicken bites - Get yourself an airfryer and buy chicken bites from Cooles / Woolies
    Chips - KFC $2.95
Burgers - Hungry Jacks 2 for 1 vouchers.
