Seems to be 50% off all jigsaws at present

    • Thanks mate, that's my daughter's Christmas presents sorted.

Was 25 ,this is a bigger one

Has anyone tried these before? How do they compare to the Wrebbit ones?

    • We have the Hogwarts Castle one. I woudln't purchase again, they are really flimsy quality which made it a pain to put together, and it's won't last long with young kids playing with it. No idea about the Wrebbit ones.

All of them are on amazon the same price except the 4 pack diagon alley.
Thanks for sharing OP. No stock in WA so delivery will $16 on JBHIFI.
For those that don't want the 4 set amazon would be the better option for shipping here.

    • so delivery will $16 on JBHIFI.

Jees where do you live? Shipping for me was $1.99 per puzzle. Don't need all 8 though as then you'd have double-ups of Diagon Alley

    Yer a wizard OP

  • Thanks OP just in time for daughters birthday. Nice little lockdown activity

  • Thanks.
Amazon, though the one the daughter picked says it wont ship for a month+

  • My shipping was free in Sydney, so this was a good deal for me. Got all 8 for myself and then the same for Christmas presents for my niece and nephew - thanks OP!

Absolutely love building with these 3D kits from cubicfun. The pieces are super easy to pop out, and don’t require glue to keep in place. Largest kit I made took me 40 hrs though.

Only issue is finding space to store them all…

    • We have that problem with Lego. And keeping the dust off it.

      • The dust is killing me. Wipe with microfibre dusting cloth is my go-to so far but it's never 100% dust free.

I've tracked down perfect fit perspex display cases from Taobao but the shipping kills it, as have to pay by dimensions.

I saw a trick which might not be 100% but better than nothing. Use window sealing strips to seal off traditional glass display cabinets.

        • Cheers.

We have a couple of these Ikea glass display cabinets https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/detolf-glass-door-cabinet-white… - although I often fear a breakage when the kids chase around, or a Nerf battle gets out of hand.
It's not big enough for larger models though - Ideas Treehouse is cramped, Stranger Things has to be rotated diagonally, and similarly for Ideas Pirates of Barracuda Bay which also needs a shelf removing to accomodate the masts - thus it takes up a whole cabinet!
I've been making temporary ones with large laminating sheets, but they don't look great. A soft bristle toothbrush is my weapon of choice for cleaning the dust off.

  • Thanks OP. I was about to grab one of the Hogwarts Castle, alas, everyone must have thought the same: "unavailable for delivery" and "No stock within 200 km" of Sydney metro area.
Even the Amazon link has gone.
    :(

So, can you link astronomy tower and great hall together for a bigger and more detailed version of hogwarts castle?

  • I never knew 3D puzzles existed, weird. I like lego and harry potter so the set on amazon for 25 dollars seems fun

  • What are these made of?

    • +5

      Mudbloods

    • Foam

  • I’m seeing $9.95 postage for Perth metro for all five puzzles, instead of the purported free shipping for $100 or more spent.
