@MrtheMoonbear, not really in the community spirit claiming to have used my code and pasting yours when you didn't. I checked and it hasn't been used
I assure you I did click through using your link or I would not have claimed so, something must have interfered with the referral credit.
Unfortunately sometimes the tracking doesn't work either from an issue on the competition end, or more frequently, due to an ad blocker. I am normally very aware of making sure I don't have my blocker running while doing comp entries but perhaps I forgot on this one.I am someone who regularly gives up my referral opportunity to use the link of someone who gets skipped in the ref chain, so believe me when I say this was not done intentionally. If we had caught this before my link was used then I would have edited mine out immediately.
Additionally, on the note of "community spirit", it is a good idea to start from a point of assuming someone has made a mistake and making inquiries accordingly. Rather than immediately jumping to public condemations and implications of subterfuge or malice. Makes for a much friendlier community overall :)
I know this happens.. I've had it done and no doubt done it as well inadvertently. I think adblockers cause issues with referrals.
