anyone Watercool their GPU's?
Can anyone tell me: IS the only difference between a budget and top tier GPU the FPS it gives? The quality of the picture will still be the same but you'll be running less FPS on better GPU correct? So if you already have good FPS on max settings for a game, a better GPU won't make it LOOK better…but will give you more FPS?
Yes, however budget GPUs often will not be able to run those higher settings at smooth, or even playable, framerates. As such, you would likely see a worse picture at a budget card because it couldnt 1) Push out the resolution, or 2) Push our the settings. If you are alright with the framerate, they will both produce identical results (At least for every RTX model, non-RTX Nvidia GPUs will not have Ray Tracing)

FYI for anyone buying from TechFast, I bought my GPU in the last deal and paid via bank transfer, and it’s now been 2 weeks with no confirmation of payment and no explanation of what the delay is. Customer support only reply once every 2-3 days over email and keep repeating that they will look into it. Would think twice before buying again from them.
If I didn’t know they are legit I would seriously be concerned about my money.
I am on the same boat here, have been waiting for week since the transfer completed and there is no 0 communication after they confirm receiving the bank transfer receipt. Have sent 4-5 emails in the past 3 days without any reply. Really bad experience so far.
My last pc build was OK. But I am in the same situation now.
Sadly my 3060 order has been cancelled due to limited stock. They can allocate me one for the next drop. Not sure when.

Ok so i'm replacing my old r9 280x radeon. Build quality seems fine. It's got RGB but don't care too much for it since my case is an old steel tank. I have a full case so i know it's going to fit and that's all i care about.
I benched it and it rated the same as what other reviews benchmark results. It maxed at 80degrees and fan was at 80%. I have a 1-1 fan curve as i don't care about noise.
I have quest1 and i wanted it for half life alyx. Boy did this not disappoint. Used virutal desktop and it's everything everyone says it is and more.
Also loaded up Shadows of a tomb raider. On my 280x it was struggling at medium settings. On the 3070ti there's no sweat on ultra + rtx. Although i am running it on a 1080 screen. I'll likely be upgrading this soon. Felt too soon to drop another 500bucks on a monitor so soon from a 1.2k card. PCVR will keep me busy until the next dell/xiaomi screen drops anyway.
Still waiting for my 3060 to be dispatched :(
Mine got shipped via express Austpost got a tracking a 2-3 days later but there appears to be delays at Auspost.

Word of advice, bank transfer is always the slowest means of transfer.. and offer little means of protection for the consumer.
paypal and credit card are always instantaneous.. and if something goes wrong, there is always some means of recourse… and reversal can be initiated…by paypal or bank,
Bank transfers cannot be easily reversed, the receiving party must agree to send the funds back..
If a product is of limited supply, payments via credit and paypal always clears faster….
I suspect sellers are always going to prioritise these customers, over bank transfers..

Am I correct in assuming that the 3070ti is slightly faster then a 2080ti? If so, the this price for thr 3080ti is better then what ppl are asking for tht 2080ti?
