Air Asia cheaper to book via Expedia

Ok, I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not. But today I have managed to book an Air Asia ticket via Expedia for over than $100 cheaper compared to prices on the actual Air Asia website.

Although in first few attempts the Expedia website weren't able to secure my booking because they fixed the price saying "the price has changed" midway through my payment processing.. But my third attempt went through successfully and I can see it in my Air Asia account (to manage the booking).

It was strangely good. Anyone ever had the same experience?

      It was end of July trip, Perth to Denpasar.

      Booking via Air Asia all inclusive (not including the optionals) were $576 for 2 people.

      Booking via Expedia all inclusive (not including the optionals) were $398 for 2 people.

      This is excluding booking fee. But even that it is still $178 cheaper. Same route, same time, same airline, same ticket.
