5% off PlayStation PS5, PS4, PS3, PS Vita & PS Portable Games + Delivery @ OzGameShop

90
PS5

Save 5% on PlayStation games. Just use code: PS5

Note: OzGameShop are a UK-based outlet that ship UK-region titles to Australia. Free shipping over $50 which takes about 2 weeks to arrive.

Some titles are cheapest around but it's also a source of physical disc games that do not get released in Aus market (e.g. Nacon games or other shovelware titles).

UK and Aus are both the same SCEE region so should be no issues with DLC and game discs are region free anyway.

5% off code also works on:-

PS4: https://www.ozgameshop.com/ps4

PS3: https://www.ozgameshop.com/ps3

  • So what titles are the cheapest around?

    • Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is already cheapest at OGS, this will make it even cheaper.

Tried checking Ratchet and clank out, "Unfortunately your order is not eligible for this voucher, nothing has been discounted. "

Looks like it works for other titles but it seems Ratchet is on 'sale' therefore code does not apply. " The current voucher cannot be used on products that are in a sale. "

Anyone lookin for It Takes Two physical edition they do not stock it.

Is this not it? Or is that a game code?

      • Ohh thanks!! Mine filtered PS5 games only it seems.

        • +1

          No problem, happy gaming!

  • Was going to post, but there is some nice stuff there. I bought Star Wars fallen and scarlet nexus when it was a bit cheaper a few weeks ago

    • I ordered a couple games from them for the first time earlier in August. Yet to receive my order, what about you? I think I ordered on the 17th.

      • I order a lot from OzGameshop (upwards of $7-8K per annum) and I can say that their deliveries have slowed to a crawl again.

It was pretty bad mid-2020 and, despite a slight recovery in Q1-Q2 of this calendar year (back under 10 days), it's again turned to sh*t. Even with the $4.99 express shipping option, all of my orders are taking upwards of 3-4 weeks to arrive despite being shipped same-day or next-day by OzGS/XBite. International backhaul freight routes are a mess.

The various COVID19 outbreaks in some of AusPost's larger distribution hubs definitely haven't helped things, either.

        • Guess I got lucky, just had a delivery from them and it arrived in 9 business days, standard shipping

Just sent an item back last week too, maybe I should’ve sent it back express after hearing all this

          • @Red Pandas: You won the current global logistics lottery ;-)

        • And no tracking on top of all that to make it that much more frustrating

          • +2

@OGKauie: Ozgameshop usually just refunds you if it gets lost in transit though, but you have to wait after a certain amount of days before they can claim it with the postal service to get your money back

            Happened to me before

          • @OGKauie: 100% I've been asking for a tracking option for close to five years now. I'm happy to pay more for a tracked delivery service but they're just not interested in changing their fulfilment and logistics model. :-(

      • It felt a long time since I’ve ordered, but checked and my order was placed 26th, otherwise I’ve been buying a lot of boutique blurays from the uk so yeh brexit, COVID have definitely made things very slow, so don’t expect it within the time frame, either way I’m sure you can get a refund after a certain amount of time.

Your order will eventually turn up. So much stuff from UK is sitting in consolidation crates at UK export airports. Remember - a lot of freight to AU relies upon passenger air travel cargo backhaul capacity…and those flight just aren't happening as often as they used to. Current worst performer is DHL Post ex-Germany. That's anywhere up to eight weeks at the moment.

  • UK has a problem with a mass exodus of lorry drivers due to brexit.
I've had a few games delivered in a 3 week period.
Not fast but not outrageously slow like Aliexpress deliveries…

Use GSG10 or HONEY10. to get 10% off. Works on most of the game expect Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart

  • Last week I saw ozgameshop was offering 10% off GSG10 code on the product game page without saying anything on newsletters.

I used 10% off code on Scarlet Nexus PS5 (before raised price to bit over $60) & Guilty Gear Strive PS5 for about $50 each.

  • +1

Was 10% off store wide for about a week last week

    • Tip: Just add the stuff you want to your cart and periodically check the site-wide discount level. Looks like it went back to 10% (with the code GSG10) at midnight last night.

      ;-)

      • Any tip to use codes more than once? Can’t seem to use codes again after making a purchase other than to make another account? Codes are one time use only it seems

        • Appears to be once per account per campaign :-(

Ahh ozgameshop, I remember you swift demise as the best place to get games cheap back in the day. Picked up Battlefield 4 for $55 on launch day. Don't see that anymore :(

Also - what is their logo meant to be? I've never understood it.

    • +1

Yeah, what happened to them? They used to be so cheap I could often get my money back by selling the game used on ebay afterwards.

Now their prices seem similar to Aussie retail.

      • +1

Amazon happened. I too used to buy from OzGS all the time 8-9 years ago, but ever since Amazon set up shop here locally I haven't seen a single reason to go back there, especially as you said, their prices are pretty much equal to Australian RRP not to mention games are for the UK market and shipping from overseas takes time.

      • AUD had a good exchange rate against the GBP back in the PS360 era. I bought a lot of games with them very cheaply then, and they'd sell games with the PEGI rating system, so UK stock.
Dollar isn't so good now and the game prices reflect that….also, places like JB have pushed game prices down locally so the difference shrunk even more.

  • doesnt work with Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart what's the point, waste of time

  • Picked up Battlefield 4 for $55 on launch day

That was October 2013 (in the last stages of the post-GFC AUD rampage) when AUD1.00 was worth close to USD0.98 (and similarly aggressive on most cross-rates incl the EUR and GBP)
