Looking for Shoes with "Non Marking" Written on Sole

Hello ,

Need help in finding non marking shoes for badminton as the sports arena near me doesnt allow shoes which dont have non marking written on the sole.

Since its an workplace activity which occurs once in few months I dont want to spend a lot on these.

Dunlop volleys are non-marking, doesn’t say on shoe but you can print out the product description if they’re that strict..

    • The OP makes it quite clear that "Non Marking" must be written on the sole.

Personally, I'd take my preferred shoe and write it on with a soldering iron.

      • Not to ruin the sole!

I have the necessary equipment (permanent marker) to make to your favourite shoes "non marking", for $20 only.

    • Do you write that statement on the bottom of the shoe?

      • I'm flexible, for the right price, I can right that statement almost anywhere you want

Plot twist: as they play, the sole heats up, causes the marker ink to start to melt and ends up stencilling "non marking" all over the court

      • In the best Aussie tradition, T&Cs apply, but they're not stated anywhere lol

        • T&Cs apply, but no one reads them anyway.

    • That would be nice

  • If they are genuine "non-marking" how would that be possible?

I have played badminton for many years and only buy New Balance 624 shoes. Great grip, very comfortable, come in a variety of widths too. Marked as 'non marking' on the sole.

Only problem is the shoes usually retail for $130, but you can sometimes score half price specials online.

    • $100 on Amazon atm; many sizes.

But, as Cluster says they do go for cheaper than this.

      • Yeah ,, will have a look around

  • I used to play barefoot at the old Albert Park badminton thingy (now demolished) in Year 9 and 10.

    • What?!!! Is that badminton court demolished?? I used to go there for socials about 6 years ago.

      • Are you sure? Those three buildings - badminton, table tennis and basketball, were all gone by 1997 when MSAC opened.

    • Thanks, my size is not available.

  • I happened to look at the sole of my shoes, which say "NON MARKING". These were New Balance MX624AB4.
