If you don't really care, good price.

I bought some a few years ago. The colour reproduction is awful! The warm white had this horrible green tinge to it.

As it is, the green packaged Phillips in Woolworths on special is also not good. The warm white is too yellow (2700k) and the cool white too crusty and harsh blue.

Personally a bit extra, but the warm white purple packaged Phillips at 3000k is great for me. Warm white, but on the whiter side.

The dining room light is on the most in my house and I found Mirabella led life underwhelming. Mirabella ambassador Kevin Muscat is doing well in Japan though, Yokohama FM comfortably 2nd in J1.

    • The “cool white” is on the warm side too. Don’t expect “cool daylight” - it is not.

Also i’m a bitt suss about the advertised lumens output. When you first turn them on are bright as per spec but after some cycles seem to have dimmed a bit. Anecdotal but it’s happened with 3 different globes.

Tbh these are cheap globes and the special pricing should be the regular price. Any higher and you are being ripped off.

  • Great timing. Thanks OP

  • I had a Mirabella globe that failed after a month. Emailed their customer support. Crickets. Will never buy the brand again

  • If you want decent globes, go with these:

The purple Philips ones (not green - that is their budget rubbish range).

3000K is a nicer 'white' warm white, not yellow 2700k. They are decent lumens ( I swear competitors are exaggerating their lumens).

Yes they are more expensive, but they aren't shit.
