LG G7/ V40/ V35 Voice Calls Not Working

Posting as a separate thread as it seem to be affecting multiple LG phone models.

TLDR; Uninstalling updates to the Google app will resolve the voice calls issue.

Symptoms of the issue
- Data works.
- SMS works.
- Outgoing calls sit at "Dialing"
- incoming calls are treated as "Busy" i.e. your Busy diversions will work.
- While the outgoing call is sitting at "Dialling" if you try and call your number from another phone, then your phone will break out of the 'dialling' and go back to idle.

Resolution
- Find the Google app via Play Store or the app manager under settings.
- Uninstall updates.
- Disable auto update (for now, until this issue is resolved).
- Report this to the developer via the play

    Switch it off and on again. If that doesn’t work, reboot (three times whilst standing on one leg… and if you have to ask which leg, then you’re doing it all wrong… apologies in advance for all those without a leg to stand on)

    I noticed this the other day and put it down to issues with the network and haven't tried making a phone call since.
    I just checked Play store updates and have installed the latest Google app update and the issue is resolved now.

    Latest version is 12.22.16.23.arm64.

    Thanks so much for this !

    My wife's G7 went bonkers and we hard reset it a few times but kept breaking ! Were ripping our hairs out …
