$5 200mL EVOO Delivered + Zoom Guinness World Record World's Biggest Virtual Olive Oil Tasting Attempt (Save $5) @ Cobram Estate

270
CBOVIP

[I am not affiliate or employee - This was a VIP code sent to me. Not sure if they will pull it once I have shared it on here]

Not as good as bigtofu's free deal, but $5 for four oils (4 * 50ML) some olive leaf tea samples plus delivery, this is not a money making enterprise. Includes the tasting session and further discounts and the chance to win a year's worth of oil. Let's get behind an Aussie business. Forget the Italian, Greek, Spanish olive oil.

I have personally attended previous versions and paid full price and highly recommend it as a lockdown activity. I purchased a few packs - send some to friends and parents. YMMV.

We’re inviting you to be a part of Australian history as we attempt to host the largest olive oil tasting ever on Thursday 28th October with Dr Joanna McMillan, chief oil maker Leandro Ravetti and Cobram Estate co-founder and chairman Rob McGavin.

We always love hearing how much you enjoy sharing the virtual tasting experience with friends and family. So, our gift to you as a VIP is a 50% discount to share with all your loved ones for our Guinness World Records online tasting event!

What: Cobram Estate Go for Gold virtual EVOO tasting
When: Thursday, 28th October at 7.30pm
Cost: Generally $10, but only $5 for you as a VIP! Includes delivery of tasting pack of oils, cups and offers
Sign up: Before Thursday, 30 September at cobramestate.com.au/virtual-tasting

Err no, this costs $5; that was a leaked code which meant it was free and has been pulled. I'm happy to pay $5 to support an Aussie business.

      • Ah I see. The $5 wasn't highlighted in the title before.

      • The codes from that link are still working as $5 tickets. The code wasn't leaked, there are several of them and they are all employee names. They are meant to be shared/promoted on socials. They just reached the target of how many free redeems they were giving out. They're trying to set a world record so they want as many participants as possible in the promotion.

  • +2

They're not going to pull the code as they want at least 13 000 participants to get the Guiness World Record.

Yeah free would have been better but for those that missed out, it's nevertheless still a good deal. I recently did one and enjoyed it immensely.

    • I haven't got it yet tried to free ones, haven't received it yet

  • Where does one input the code?

    • +1

There should be text on the top left hand corner asking you to input the code

  • Tried and got this message:

    Sorry, that code is invalid

    • +2

You sure you put CBOVIP and not COBVIP?

    • +1

Delete that space before the code.

I copied and used that CBOVIP code and it worked fine. Looking forward to learning more about different olive oils for $5. Cheap education with actual tasting and not just reading about it to hopefully enhance my cooking and appreciation of when to use each oil. Thanks OP.

  • Here's a picture of what it looks like: https://d1ozebeurs5bq4.cloudfront.net/assets/images/content/…

Decent size. At first I thought it was the size of an essential oil (8ml).

    • +1

      The bottles are 50ml each

    • That’s a decent size box it comes in. Happy to pay $5 for the samples and postage.

    • lol that's literally what I said when I opened mine!

I also laughed at the bottle marked "RANCID"

  • +3

lmao the state of Guinness World Records…..

Bring back the weird sh*t that actually made it a good read back in the day.
